HOLISTIC GARMENTS SIZING

Holistic Garments offer an exclusive personalised, bespoke service taking standard size garments and adjusting them according to your measurements.

We recognise that poor fitting and wrinkled garments are uncomfortable. These are the main reasons why patients stop wearing them! Each body is different and very few people fit in standard size (off-the-shelf) compression garments.

We carry out all necessary adjustments to your garments so that these fit your body shape applying the compression required.

Our garments have two rows of hook & eyes and in addition we offer a follow-up 2nd Stage Alteration Service.

TAKING MEASUREMENTS

• Wear your normal undergarments: no jeans, jumpers, flattening sports bra or padded bra. 
• Waist: do not pull in your tummy, measure your waist around the belly button level
• Lay the tape measure flat against the skin: don't pull it tight nor let it droop
• Measure twice to make sure you have the correct measurement
• Measurements can be provided in inches ( '' ) or in centimetres (cm)
• Please select the appropriate style compression garments and fill in the measurements in the boxes provided.
• Please fill in your surgery date in the box provided. We will look at this information too when processing your order.

WASH & CARE INSTRUCTION

• Wash the compression garment in tepid water
• Do not tumble dry
• Allow the compression garment to dry naturally away from direct heat
• Once it is dry put the compression garment in the firdge/refrigerator (not the freezer) for  30 minutes to allow fibre reconstitution
• only wear the compression garment at room temperature
• It is advisable to have two sets of compression garments so that you have a fresh one to wear whilst the other one is being washed or returned for 2nd stage alteration.
