How does the sizing of Holistic Garments compression garment work?

Holistic Garments offer a personalised, bespoke service taking standard sizes garments and adjusting them according to the patient's measurement. Each body is different and very few people fit well in a standard size garment. We will look at your measurements and carry out all the necessary adjustments so that your garments will fit your body shape perfectly. In addition we offer follow-up alteration service. We recognise that poor fitting and wrinkled garments are uncomfortable. These are the main reasons why patients stop wearing them !  Our compression garments are 100% latex free, breathable, hypoallergenic and do not retain bodyheat.

How do I take my measurements?

• Wear your normal undergarments: no jeans, jumpers, flattening sports bra  or padded bra.
• Do not pull in your tummy.
•  Lay the tape measure flat against the skin: don't pull it tight nor let it droop.  
• Measure twice to make sure you have the correct measurement

Wash Care Instructions

• Wash the compression garment in tepid water with neutral soap
• Do not tumble dry
• Allow the compression garment to dry naturally away from direct heat
• Once it is dry put the compresion garment in the fridge/refrigerator (not the freezer) for 30 minutes as it allows fibre reconstitution
• Only wear the compression garment at room temperature
• having two sets of compression garments will ensure you have a fresh one to wear whilst the other one is being washed and cared for
